Leo Huang

Academic Tutor and Debate Coach

Leo Huang is a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis, and was the President of Millburn High School's debate team in New Jersey. He has five years of Public Forum debate experience. His most prestigious debate accomplishments include Quarterfinals at the 2021 Tournament of Champions, Quarterfinals at the Scarsdale Invitational, Octofinals at the Yale Invitational, going 6-0 at the Harvard Invitational, and many more. Apart from competing, Leo has extensively mentored and coached novice debaters on his team, helping them to achieve great success at tournaments, including winning the 2021 NJ State Championship. Leo is very excited to teach all aspiring debaters!


Outside of debate, Leo is the President of his Residential College at WashU. He is an avid writer, publishing articles on social issues in journals both at school and beyond. Leo also worked for the New York City Council, receiving the New York City Council Citation Award for servicing local communities. In his free time, Leo enjoys reading, playing basketball, jamming on the drums, and listening to music.
